The Phoenix Genesis Corp. Concept was initiated in January 1, 2004 , and then incorporated on January 22, 2007 in Delaware . The basis was to build a group of Technology leaders in the Security Industry that could blend their respective Best-of- Breed and leading edge technologies into a solid solution offered to the World’s Security Industry. Prior to this, we saw an industry dominated by only a few substantial, multi-national firms that had the ability to glean contracts from the U.S. Government Agencies and Industries largest firms. Once these very large contracts were won, there became a need to research and study to find a couple, among hundreds at first - now thousands, of competent Leading-Edge Technology Companies that could weave their combined products into an answer for the specifications of the awarded contracts.
“No-one was ever fired for hiring IBM” contractors! , as the saying goes…It only took a couple of years for the clients and contractors to see that it took much more research and study to find companies and technologies that could integrate, blend seamlessly, and perform over a long period of time without the many faults which we have all seen. That is the reason we are here today.
The PGC Consortium works together and in harmony and unison and, in the security community. We have all seen the Global Headlines stating that the producers and integrators of security and economic transformations must be accountable for the solutions that they provide to Governments, Industry and the Private Sector clients.
The PGC Consortium has been evolving and growing into three (3) distinct groups during the last year, much more than over the preceding first four years.
We formalized a Non-Exclusive Marketing Agreement that the PGC Associates pay twenty (20%) percent sales commission for all project work that they obtained through the efforts of the PGC Consortium.
PGC was initiated to circumvent the normal Request for Purchase (RFP) programs that were being won by only a few large integrators.
Only through a mindset of total cooperation, between all the Associate members, could this structure become a reality. The same one we are still working to maintain.
During the first major change of PGC, starting last June First (1st), we started to see a distinct difference between our Associates and those PGC Friendly Companies, which could not formally be associated with a private working group; but they could work with the PGC Consortium on a project-by-project basis.
These Companies then became the “Friends” of the PGC Consortium. Some because they had conflicting ownership, by other Companies or individuals, which needed to be “stand alone” businesses, for one reason or another.
Then PGC was introduced to Washington ’s prestigious consulting firms, which had no technology to support the PGC Consortium mix, but they could see the common sense of recommending the PGC Consortium as a Total Solution Provider, or a One-Stop Shop to their clients; who were paying for their consulting for security and economic transformation. These consulting firms also found it hard to sign an agreement for services; therefore,
PGC offered a one-way consulting agreement to pay a commission for work that resulted from their consulting efforts. The incentive is the commission offered to the PGC Consortium Consultants is, TenPercent (10%) or one-half (1/2) of the sales commissions that PGC receives of the gross on every project or profit center.
The under lying theme of the PGC Consortium is to assist all of The PGC Consortium, and its partners, to grow to the next level of business volume. In order to achieve this step,
Financial Assistance was be needed in most cases, and was provided through the power of numbers by and for the PGC consortium.
Initially the PGC Consortium was offered $2.8 Billion Dollar ($2.800,000,000.00) line of Project funding, which is still in place today; if the guidelines are meet as presently outlined by Blum & Co.
We have been growing the PGC Consortium internally for the past Six (6) years. Most of you know that you can call on PGC / Steve Garrett 24/7 for solid information and advice, and many of you have.
We have devoted ourselves to this task and have never complained about the demands that PGC made on our personal lives.
Earlier this year we initiated a monthly fee for participation in the PGC Consortium, not to pay the expenses of PGC, but to make a commitment to the other PGC Associates.
Many of you have been urging PGC to charge a commitment fee to differentiate those who will work in harmony, from those that would only take from PGC, as it is convenient.
We have shown our commitment and our value to the PGC Consortium over time, with both investments of time, effort, and money.
We have had a number of discussions with most of the PGC Consortium Associates, and from all of your input we have arrived at, what most of us feel, is a fair and just commitment to bind all of us together.
In every group, as always, some will only feel it is fair if it is free.
We all know that there is NO Free Lunch
